The Beyond series, and where to start

Four books, written because the same family conversations keep arriving in the same shapes. They are not therapy and they do not pretend to be. They are structured guides for talking about things that have usually gone unsaid for years.

Beyond Inheritance is the workbook of the set: generational patterns, what gets handed down without anyone choosing it, and printable exercises for breaking a cycle deliberately. Beyond Misunderstanding deals with communication that has calcified — estrangement, boundaries, and repair after the argument has become a script. Beyond Neglect covers elder care and filial duty, including the guilt that comes with sharing or stepping back from care. Beyond Complacency is about raising Gen Z and Gen Alpha in a digital age, and is the most forward-looking of the four.

They can be read in any order, and each stands alone. If you want all four, the Complete Collection costs less than the individual books together. Every title comes as both PDF and EPUB, so they read properly on a phone or an e-reader rather than only on paper.
